CRAFTS CREATE CHANGE

You have to admit this is amazing!

Isn't she amazing?! Before writing Dear God are we there yet? and launching the volunteer community I was deeply into the fashion industry. I had some amazing opportunities with Favala Designs and Fashion is a Business with being featured on the Dr. Oz Show, Black Shopping Network Channel, endless publications and various fashion weeks around the world.

Fast forward my life hit a tragedy when I had a hysterectomy at the age of 29 leaving me in a deep depression because I knew I would no longer be able to have children. An idea in a car ride turned into opening Florida's first fashion design and sewing school for kids and using fashion and crafts to create change in communities, families and future generations. When that chapter closed in my life I began writing and creating Dear God are we there yet and I knew that one day I would go back to my fashion roots.

I am so excited that in March 2022 I will be launching my very own sewing and crafts book inspiring people to create life changing projects that will support organizations, communities people’s lives. These projects are perfect for all levels and it gives you a direct opportunity to donate to people in need locally or internationally.

I hope you'll be a part of volunteering and support crafts create change!
